Packaging Hand
Capital Brewing Co is on the hunt for a passionate Packaging Hand to join our team. If you love craft beer, have an eye for detail, this could be your perfect next step.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assist in day-to-day packaging operations including canning and kegging
- Effective operation of all end-of-line packaging equipment, including conveyor belts, paktech applicator, barcode applicator, cartoniser and palletiser
- Maintain cleanliness of packaging line and work areas
- Perform quality checks to ensure packaging meets brewery standards
- Follow workplace health and safety practices
- Assists warehouse operations including rotation of stock and safe stock storage practices, pick and pack orders, loading and unloading of trucks and dispatch of stock where necessary
- Perform stocktake of finished and raw material inventory and enters inventory management data
What we’re looking for:
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods)
- Team player with good communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-focused
- Previous experience in packaging, manufacturing, or brewing is an advantage but not essential – full training will be provided
