Marketing and Events Manager

Capital Brewing Co is one of Australia’s largest independently owned and B-corp certified craft breweries and has been making award-winning Good Natured Brews from its Canberra brewery and taproom since 2017.

The Marketing and Events Manager will work closely with the Creative Director, Managing Directors and the Sales team to drive all marketing, promotions and event activity across the Capital Brewing Co brand in the wholesale market, our hospitality venues and local community groups and events.
Main duties include:
Marketing

Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive wholesale volume growth

Develop and implement strategies to deliver growth in hospitality venues

Oversee and Drive consumer engagement and loyalty programs hospitality operations

Maintain a strong, consistent brand identity across all channels

Manager PR campaigns with or without agency support - communicating with media to gain earned placements

Oversee the optimisation of the website and E-commerce to increase online sales

Oversee Digital Marketing including Paid, Owned, Earned and Shared channels.
Events

Identify, secure and manage events both in-house at Capital’s Dairy Road Tap Room, Lager House and off-site at festivals and events in the ACT

Ensures all events are set up and delivered to brand standards and are delivered safely, alongside the hospitality operations team who provide staffing and infrastructure support.

Provides detailed briefings to Taproom and Events staff prior to their shifts commencing to ensure that duties are allocated effectively, key information relating to safety, security and first aid are communicated

Collaborating with the Hospitality teams to plan and promote taproom/Lager House events.

Build Relationships with local business, partners, media and community groups
