From a few tables with your favourite people to taking over a whole section of the pub, our team can help pull together a function that feels relaxed, easy and properly looked after.

FAQ
Minimum Spend Required
A minimum expenditure of $2,000.00 is required for all Private
Courtyard bookings.
100% of the minimum spend must be applied toward a bar tab for
beverages consumed on-site.
Food Purchases
Food purchases (via Brodburger), takeaway/packaged alcohol, and
merchandise do not contribute toward the minimum spend.
Required Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is required to secure the date.
This amount is credited toward the total minimum spend.
The balance of the minimum spend ($1,500.00), plus any additional
expenses incurred, must be settled in full at the conclusion of the event.
AV, TV and Microphone
The courtyard has isolated AV so you can play your own music, use the TVs and deliver epic speeches with our free to use microphone. When filling in the form select what you'll need for the booking and our staff will arrange the equipment for you
All bookings under 30 people are allocated
a window of 2 hours and 25 minutes. Bookings over 30 people we allow 3 hours.
Extensions are subject to management approval and venue availability.
Fees may apply for extended occupation of the space.
Sittings
Bookings must adhere to the following timeframes:
Lunch: 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM / 3:00 PM
Afternoon: 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM / 5:00 PM
Dinner (Sun-Thu): 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM / 9:00 PM
Dinner (Fri-Sat): 5:00 PM – 8:15 PM / 10:00 PM
Payment Method
To facilitate a bar tab, the Licensee must provide a valid credit card
and a matching government-issued photo ID to be held by bar staff for the
duration of the event.
Capital Brewing Co. is a strictly card-only venue. Cash is not
accepted.
Beverage Packages
Capital Brewing Co does not have specific packages, however speak to our staff about what you'd like the bar tab to include/exclude
Private Hire
Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the event date will
result in the forfeiture of the $500.00 deposit.
Large Groups
Reductions in guest numbers or cancellations should be
communicated at least 48 hours in advance.
