Trail Brims and Brews – Fractel and Capital Team Up!
A group of friends embarked on a memorable journey through the enchanting landscapes of Ku-Ring-Gai National Park, fuelled by their shared passion of trail running and a love for the outdoors. The occasion marked the unveiling of a new partnership between Fractel and Capital Brewing, two companies with a shared vision for conservation. Together, they have crafted a special edition hat, with proceeds dedicated to supporting ‘For Wild Places,’ an initiative aimed at safeguarding Australian wilderness areas.
As the trail runners laced up their shoes and adjusted their Fractel caps, excitement brewed. The sun cast a golden hue over the rugged terrain, as they set off on their adventure, eager to explore the hidden gem that lay ahead. The trail, weaving its way through Ku-Ring-Gai National Park, presented a tapestry of lush greenery and towering trees. Birds chirped overhead, while the occasional rustle in the underbrush hinted the presence of native wildlife.
The trail wound its way to a breathtaking viewpoint and the runners paused to catch their breath and take in the panoramic view before them. From this vantage point, they could see the vast expanse of the national park, stretching out in all directions. At this point the runners felt an enormous sense of gratitude for the pristine, untouched wilderness that lay before them. Less than an hour out of Sydney it felt like a different world.
For Wild Places are a group of people from across Australia who originally came together on the ancient lands of Takayna to run and protect the Gondwanan native temperate forests from unnecessary destruction. They are united by a desire to use trail running for good, reconnecting trail runners with the places they love to explore and helping them become sports activists.
Our adventure through the Ku-Ring-Gai National proudly partnered with For Wild Places to support their endeavours, fully embracing the concept of sports activation through trail running. Fractel has designed and produced a limited edition running cap, boasting cutting-edge moisture management material designed to keep you comfortable even in the most challenging conditions.
